May Wisdom of the Earth Promotion: Staff Picks – Our “Tried and True” Favorites!

*|MC:SUBJECT|*

Every month brings its own rhythm, but some essences rise to the top again and again — the ones we reach for by habit, the allies that simply work.  For our May Promotion, we’re sharing the Wisdom of the Earth Staff Picks: Our “Tried and True” Favorites, a collection of oils and essences we rely on daily for their steadiness, versatility and true plant wisdom.

These are the bottles we keep within arm’s reach: the clarifiers, the calmers, the brighteners, the protectors. Oils that meet you where you are — whether you need a quick reset, a deeper grounding, or a gentle lift back into yourself. They’re trusted because they show up consistently, across seasons, moods, and bodies.

This month, we’re offering them at 40% off as a way of saying: Here are the plants we count on. May they become your go‑to favorites, too!

Once again, here is the “administrative” side of participating in our monthly Promotion. Please read these instructions, even if you have participated before, as some ordering  aspects may have changed.

1.  The 40% off promotional offer on these select items runs Friday,  May 15th, starting at 12:01 am, and ends Sunday,  May 17th at midnight, Mountain Standard Time.  Insurance is included in the shipping cost, which covers leakage, damage or loss.

2.  If you normally order through your Wisdom of the Earth teacher or distributor, please do so for this promotion.  You will receive the same 40% discount you would receive ordering directly from us, and doing so honors the ongoing relationship you have with our representative. They are also able to advise if you have questions regarding whether something would be helpful for you, and how to apply it most effectively for the use you have in mind, etc.

3.  We have programmed the website to reflect the 40% off prices for these ten items; for reference, the regular price is shown in the product descriptions below.  When you place an order for any of these ten products, the discounted price will be applied automatically.  No coupons are necessary.

4.  The name of each product in the descriptions below is a link to the product on our website’s on-line store, if you want to go directly to it.  Or, you can just make a list of the ones you are interested in as you read through the descriptions, and use the search function on the website to take you to them when you are ready to order.  The picture of each plant, with the name of the product in the center that accompanies the description, is also a “link”, and if you click on the name it will take you to that product’s location in the e-store as well.

5.  The promotional pricing cannot be combined with any other discount you may qualify for on these ten items (for example, our 10% discount for locals), however if you wish to include other regularly priced items in your order,  just enter your regular discount code, and it will be applied to the other, non-promotional products.

6.  Please remember, these promotions result in lots of orders in a short amount of time, so we appreciate your patience, as it may take considerably longer than usual to process and ship promotional orders.  If you have not received notice by email that your order has shipped by Friday,  May 29th,  please contact us so we can research the status of your order.

7.  Important!  If you experience any problems placing your order during the promotion, let me know via the website Contact Us form, or email me at [email protected] explaining the issue.  If we can’t get back to you until after the promotion, we will still honor the promotional pricing if you have contacted us during the promotional period.

There may be some products in the Promotion you have never heard of…this is a great opportunity to try something you have not used before.  As always, we will highlight the healing properties of each product; for your broader information, cultural and spiritual aspects of these beautiful offerings will be noted, as well.

Meet the products in this promotion!

Himalayan Soti (Wild)  Cymbopogon sp.

Distilled from the flowering tops of wild, Nepalese lemongrass growing in the  country’s high-altitude areas, Himalayan Soti offers the “magic mystical clarity of high mountain air” to clear stagnant energy. This plant is distilled in the “old way”…the flowering tops instead of just the stems and leaves…because the non-commercial, artisan distillers say that the flowering tops carry the plant’s “breath” or “spirit”.  This aligns beautifully with this special  oil’s sacred purifying properties.

Put on the “full body armor” of Himalayan Soti and you can do ANYTHING! ~Susie Chandler, WOTE Sacred Pourer

Medicinal Benefits: Acts as a natural tonic for mental and emotional exhaustion and provides respiratory relief for symptoms of asthma and coughs.

Lavandin Grosso (Biodynamic)  Lavandula x intermedia ‘Grosso’

A robust, high-yielding hybrid, Grosso is a reliable favorite for its rich, sweetly camphorous scent and remarkably high vibrational frequency.

What a special, special oil this is….so alive, so uplifting.  Lavandins, as a rule, are beautiful oils to experience, but when one is bio-dynamically crafted by an artisan farmer in California…there is a incredible energy to complement the amazing aroma.  When our biodynamic source in France changed ownership/cultivation methods, we lost a reliable source of these specially-farmed oils.  I was thrilled to find this source…in the US!  This oil offers all of the usual benefits of Lavandin, blessed with the magic of biodynamic farming principles.  It doesn’t get better than this! ~Audre Gutierrez, WOTE Owner

Medicinal Benefits: Highly antibacterial and analgesic, it is an excellent choice for soothing burns, bruises, muscle pain, and respiratory congestion.

Emotional & Spiritual: Promotes deep, restorative sleep and quiets a racing mind, bringing a profound sense of harmony and tranquility.

Historical Significance: Developed in the 1970s by French grower Pierre Grosso, it revolutionized lavender production by providing a hardy, high-yielding alternative to true lavender.

Linaloe Wood has helped me come back to myself in real tangible ways – slowing my breath, easing the tension I didn’t realize I was holding and giving me the clarity to choose what is true for me. It’s become a steady companion in nurturing the parts of myself that feel most honest. ~Alissa Smith, WOTE Operations Associate

Medicinal Benefits: This anti-inflammatory ally supports skin regeneration, diminishes wrinkles, and offers relief for sinus congestion.

Emotional & Spiritual: Cherished as an emotional enhancer and aphrodisiac, it brings a warm, joyful energy that facilitates “cosmic protection” to grow in divine love.

Historical Significance: Native to Mexico, the tree was known as Xochicopalli in Mesoamerica and was used as sacred incense long before the Spanish gave it the name “Linaloe”.

Orange Petitgrain  Citrus aurantium

Distilled from the leaves and twigs of the bitter orange tree, Petitgrain is a sophisticated, woody-floral essence that harmonizes its citrus brightness and earthy depth.

Retail Price:  15 ml $33; 120 ml $231

Peppermint, India  (Organic) Mentha piperita

Cultivated in the fertile fields of India, this variety is softer and more nuanced than harsher peppermints, offering a cooling, smooth wake-up call for the senses.

Peppermint is my go-to for a natural energy boost, especially during long drives. A quick inhale or a touch on the neck and wrists helps me stay alert—and it’s a trusted favorite for easing headaches. ~Taylor, WOTE Office Administrator

Emotional & Spiritual: Sharpens focus and dispels mental fog; it is exceptionally cooling for a quick temper, restoring calm when emotions run high.

Spiritually, Peppermint has a long history (Greek, Middle Eastern and European folk traditions) of being used to:

  • Cut through illusion

  • Sharpen intuition
  • Reveal the “next right step”

Peppermint offers a pause at key points in decision-making, suggesting “look again…you may have missed something” .

Cucumber Seed Hydrolat  Cucumis sativus

A premier hydration elixir, this hydrolat provides a burst of moisture that revitalizes tired, dull, or irritated skin.  Our producer uses fresh plant material that not only allows capture of all the volatiles, but most importantly, the cellular water from the living plant. It is this cellular water, imbued with nourishing minerals and fatty acids, that make it dynamic and vibrant compared to using dried material, which results in the loss of important skin-refreshing and aromatic molecules.

Cucumber Hydrolat is a wonderful friend for the skin and eyes, especially in the summer months. It’s great for soothing sunburn and minor skin irritations. ~Bronlin Chandler, WOTE Sacred Pourer

Medicinal Benefits: Its anti-inflammatory properties actively calm redness and sensitivity, making it an essential facial toner or after-sun spritz to lock in moisture and refine pores.

Emotional & Spiritual: The fresh, crisp aroma uplifts the senses and fosters a sense of security, helping to relieve worry and overthinking.

Historical Significance: Cucumber seeds have long been important in ancient healing traditions for their ability to help the body work in harmony and heal naturally from within.

Retail price:  120 ml $37; 500ml $141
