According to tradition, Christmas Day is the beginning of the 12 days of Christmas. The period is said to be viewed by Christians as the amount of time it took the three magi, or wise men, to travel to Bethlehem for the Epiphany, the revelation of Jesus Christ as the savior and the son of God. Other regions or cultures consider the last day as the day Jesus was baptized.  Whatever your understanding of the origin of the Twelve Days of Christmas, it is celebrated by song and tradition in many regions around the world with well-wishes, gift-giving, and festivities.

Holiday Hours at Wisdom of the Earth
Since the Christmas holidays fall on the weekend, we will be open 1/2 day (8:30 - 12:00) on Friday, December 23rd.  We will be closed on Monday, December 26, reopening on Tuesday, December 27 from 8:30-4:00.

For the New Year's holiday, we will be open 1/2 day (8:30 - 12:00) on Friday, December 30 and we will be closed on Monday, January 2nd, reopening on Tuesday, January 3 from 8:30 - 4:00.

A Fond Farewell to Robin Michaels
Robin has decided to return to her full-time massage practice, and will be leaving Wisdom of the Earth at the end of the year.  She has been the person lovingly and accurately pulling and packing the numerous orders that come to WOTE customers throughout the US and globally.  We wish her well as she returns to her calling of providing excellent body work to clients in the Verde Valley, as well as those who visit our beautiful area.
