| Every product at Wisdom of the Earth carries more than aroma—it carries a place. A landscape. A lineage shaped by soil, climate, and the hands that have gathered and harvested these plants across generations.
Every single batch of our essential oils is a reflection of what is known in the world of agriculture as “terroir” (pronounced “tear-war“) — how a specific region’s soil, climate and weather shape the final taste, aroma and quality of an agricultural product. Factors like altitude, mineral-dense soil, and weather patterns act as natural influencers, prompting the plant to develop unique, highly concentrated chemical blueprints and distinct therapeutic frequencies that enable it to thrive in that particular environment.
Because the plants from which our essential oils and hydrolats are made have been grown and distilled in countries around the world, the offerings in this month’s promotion arrive infused with the exact energy and terroir of their specific homeland—Brazil’s lush forests, Morocco’s ancient mountains, Mexico’s citrus groves, Nepal’s Himalayan ridges, and beyond.
Wisdom of the Earth is also celebrating our place in this beautiful web of connection. When you work with these essences, you are embracing the healing power of the planet. In addition to working with farmers on virtually every continent (see where our ten featured products hail from, noted by the little “leaf” markers in the banner!) we are proud and honored to have customers in all 50 U.S. states and in many nations across the globe. By welcoming the medicine of these distant, distinct landscapes into your daily life, you are truly a citizen of the world, embracing the hard work, vision and medicinal contributions of distant people and lands you may never experience first-hand.
So here is how you can participate in this celebration of the global diversity that benefits us all |

Applied over the adrenals first thing in the morning, this beautiful oil bathes you in its fragrance, and enlivens your energy. Royal Velvet Lavender Hydrolat (Organic) — USA
Lavandula angustifolia
This Royal Velvet Lavender is organically grown and distilled in the United States. The hydrolat created from the distillation process is very special, in that the lavender, itself, is described as “enlivened” by the farmer, who has placed Azeztulite crystals throughout her lavender fields for the purpose of opening to and amplifying light energy. So this, of course, is reflected in the energy and frequency of the hydrolat, as well.
Medicinal Benefits: Soothes skin, calms inflammation, supports sleep, and eases dermal irritation. It accelerates sunburn recovery, provides immediate relief for insect bites, and safely balances sensitive, hyper-reactive skin types.
Emotional / Spiritual Benefits: Quietens the mind, eases anxiety, and invites tenderness. It smooths out chaotic mental chatter, opens communication blocks, and fosters an atmosphere of deep inner harmony.
Historical Significance: Lavender has been used across cultures for healing, cleansing, and ritual comfort — a worldwide emblem of peace. From Renaissance royal courts to early battlefield field hospitals, it has historically been relied upon to cleanse both physical wounds and sacred spaces alike.
