Sacred Botanicals: Online Extended Integration – A Level I Certification Course with Katie Shell
Class Level:

To Be Determined
DATE:
October 01 - December 31, 2026
Time:
Ongoing enrollment
DESCRIPTION:
This extended online offering of Sacred Botanicals is designed to meet you wherever you are in your relationship with the plants.
Whether you are brand new to essential oils, have worked with them for years, are adding aromatherapy to an existing professional practice, or simply feel called to deepen your relationship with plant medicine, we begin with you—your experience, your interests, and what you want to explore.
Offered one-on-one (or small groups) with continuous enrollment, this format allows our work to unfold over time. You have the opportunity to experience the oils between sessions, bring those experiences back into our conversations, ask questions as they arise, and integrate what you are learning into your everyday life and practice.
We explore the foundations of medicinal aromatherapy while developing a relationship with the plants that extends beyond learning what individual essential oils are “for.” We work with their physical properties and applications alongside their emotional, energetic, and spiritual qualities, learning to recognize the plants as complex medicines with their own personalities and gifts.
Our work with the plants is experiential. Embodiment, meditation, sacred anointing, and ritual are woven throughout Sacred Botanicals, creating space not only to learn about the oils, but to experience them and develop your own relationship with the plants.
As a master aromatherapist and professional Evolutionary Astrologer, my work is deeply integrative. The extended format gives us the space to follow the connections that emerge and, when relevant, weave in astrology, energy work, intuition, cycles and rhythms, creativity, or other modalities and practices you already bring with you.
We will explore your individual needs, interests, and experience together, allowing the plants to become part of your existing life and practice rather than something that exists separately from it.
Included with the Full Course:
3 textbooks
45 essential oils — a retail value of $600+
Online students registering for the full course receive a collection of oils to work with throughout the experience.
20% discount on services and oils while enrolled
24 CEUs available for massage therapists
Completion of the full requirements qualifies you for Wisdom of the Earth Level I certification, but certification does not have to be your reason for being here. You are welcome to experience Sacred Botanicals for your own knowledge, exploration, personal practice, and relationship with the plants.
Come meet the plants. Learn their medicine. Experience their wisdom. Discover where they take you.
Fees:
$1,350 for the complete course. You may also begin with a trial session before deciding whether you would like to continue with the complete course. If you continue, your trial-session fee can be applied toward the $1,350 total. Enrollment is continuous, so there is no need to wait for a particular class date. We will begin with a conversation about where you are, what you are looking for, and how Sacred Botanicals can best meet you there.
